College of Social and Behavioral Sciences The College of Social & Behavioral Sciences provides several avenues to academic, professional, and vocational competence. Besides specific courses preparing students for a broad variety of occupational categories, general education classes furnish an extensive breadth of knowledge and a keen appreciation for moral, intellectual, and aesthetic values. Although stressing breadth of education, curricula of the College afford enough specialization and career education to prepare students for enrollment in professional schools and graduate programs or for participation in various occupational classifications immediately upon graduation.
