Students wishing to minor in European Studies must have their course selection approved by the program coordinator. European Studies minor » Grade Requirements: A grade of "C" or better in each course used toward the minor (a grade of "C-" is not acceptable). » Credit Hour Requirements: A minimum of 18 credit hours in addition to two years of college study (or the equivalent) of a European language. Courses taken which are part of the student's major will not count as fulfillment of the minor requirement. Of the total 18 credit hours, only six may be taken in the same department. Advisement All students electing the minor are required to meet with the coordinator for approval of all courses to be counted toward fulfillment of the requirements. The coordinator will ascertain that the individual courses selected are eligible to be counted, and that together they form a coherent curriculum of sufficient breadth. Course Requirements for Minor The following are required in addition to two years of college study in a European language other than the student's native language, or equivalent proficiency to be demonstrated by the student.
