Respiratory Therapist bachelors degree (bs) » Program Prerequisite: Completion of Pre-Professional Respiratory Therapist AAS degree or Certificate of Completion from an accredited, respiratory therapist program (R.RT. eligible) or complete CRT SAE with cut score of 95/140 following pre-professional year. » Grade Requirements: A grade of "C" or better in each course required by this program (a "C-" is not acceptable). CR/NC courses in this program require a "C" or better to receive CR. A GPA of 2.75 is required to enter the program. » Credit Hour Requirements: A total of 120 credits is required for graduation (includes AAS degree requirements); 67 of these are REST credits. A total of 40 upper division credit hours is required (courses numbered 3000 and above); 29 of these are required REST credits. Departmental standards are applied to independent projects and directed readings. Advisement All respiratory therapist students are required to meet with a faculty advisor before beginning bachelor's degree courses, and at least annually after entering program, and complete an academic contract specifying major courses, approved electives, and graduation requirements.
