Show Wednesday, January 6, 1932. Spent this fornoon at home after doing up my house work. I did quite a lot of telephoning on Relief Society buisness also made out a report of all the food & clothing conserved by Mt. Ogden Stake Relief Society for the past six months and sent it to General Board of RS in Salt Lake. Dr and I attended the funeral services of Sidney Stephens who died from injuries in an auto accident a few days ago. I went down town to do some exchanging of Xmas gifts etc. This evening I went to Stake Pres of organizations meeting and later to Relief Society board meeting. Abbie Pond gave teachers topic. Thursday, January 7, 1932 This evening Noah & Mrs. Pond had dinner with us and were our guests to the Pioneer Ball given by several of the camps. Did not enjoy the dance music but had a nice evening togather. They are new friends. Our Pioneers by Martha B Cooley Pioneers with faith & courage. Bravely faced the savage horde. Though the way was long and weary. Put their faith in Christ their Lord Cheerfully each day they journeyed Singing Praises to his name. Home and rest were ere their beacon As they trudged the dusty plain. Pioneers with faith & courage. Pioneers Our Pioneers. |
