Show Saturday, July 30, 1932. Have had a buisy morning put up apricot Jam. Went shopping this afternoon bought me five dresses for 8.00 one a lovly green & white silk sport dress one a fine lawn afternoon house dress & three good looking house dresses five nice large soft bath towels for 1.00 & five yr of best fine pillow tubeing for 1.00. Have never known a time when every thing was so cheap and so many people out of money & work. Sunday, July 31, 1932. Dr & Junior went out to play golf. I went to Sunday School enjoyed it a lot. Prepared dinner Dr & I ate alone. Cloteel & babys came down. Dr & I went for a ride I could not talk him in to going to church. We called at Juniors. |
