The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Wednesday, May 25, 1932. Have been very buisy today at nine thirty AM twnety five members of the 18 Ward RS went thro the Ogden Tray Laundry. We were handed a check for 7.25 by the laundry for going thro. Very interesting especially laundrying of curtains & blankets. Prepared lunch, did iorning & at three PM attended a meeting of School Supertendans & Sup. Jensen of State Schools, to consider Summer School at Weber College. This evening went to RS Board meeting the last until Sept. ma glad to have a rest from this meeting. Mrs. Elizabeth Thomas & I called to sec Mrs. Haslett whos husband died. Avon is up to a party at Cloteels. Bertha Wright & Mrs. Ferrin called. Thursday, May 26, 1932. Avon and I slept late Dr went to the Hospital to operate. Avon and I went down town & bought groceries. D Orr had lunch with us. After doing up lunch dishes I visited camp 2 Daughters of Pioneers. A book review was given by Mrs. Andrew. Twenty were present. A very nice afternoon. It is so cold we have a fire in the furnace. High School Commensement to day largest class graduated in its history. Had a nice letter from Mary saying they had moved to San Matao. from San Francisco. |
