Show Monday, July 4, 1932. This AM Dr and I drove to SLC to see his sister Lubbie Pratt. We found her very sick has well developed cancar of liver etc and cannot live long she is now 82 yr old very bright & hopeful wishing to live longer Viola her daughter came from NY yesterday to be with her. We ate lunch with Drs brother Fred & Em Rich and had a nice visite. Called to see my brother. Oren & wife Mae he was just leaving for the mines where he & Mark are trying had to make a living these times of depression as neither have had work for a year. We came hoem about 3 PM. having enjoyed a lovly cool ride quite a change in the weather from yesterday. Cool all day & night. Tuesday, July 5, 1932. My mothers & fathers sixty second wedding day. Am both have been dead for years. Joe and Myrene came home from Jackson Wyo where they spent a few days fishing. They made a quick trip driving 60 in an hour most of the way going & coming. Taylor and Mary had dinner with Louis Perry & wife Mary. |
