Show Tuesday, March 8, 1932. I visited the 20 Ward of Ogden Stake Relief Society to see how they put over their work & business meeting. Pres McFarland made me welcome & invited me to say a few words. They made paper poppies also did water painting had fifteen wemon take part. At four oclock I went to County Court House to a meeting of the Social Service Exchange to discuss the means of distributing the clothing gathered by Boy Scouts of the City as the ask it go thro this organization. I was voted chairman & chose as Committee Earnest Ford of Goodfellows Ada Griswald of Childrens Aid & Julia Parry of Relief Society. Called with Dr at Volker home. Wendesday, March 9, 1932. Spent today at Community Service rooms with eight others assorting used clothing. Went to the funeral of John WF Volker in the 18 Ward Chapel called on Electa Brown an old time friend and one who served on Mount Ogden Stake RS Board for a number of years. Attended RS Board meeting this evening. Have prepared meals & done work in between. |
