Show Thursday, April 7, 1932. I had breakfast Dora slept as I had an eight o clock meeting. Social Services Case Work. One of our board members had a talk. Mrs. D R Wheelwright on unemployment. She did fine. At 1030 AM a meeting on Work & Buisness held in the Asembley Hall. I gave a talk on What Work & Buisness has done for the 4 Ogden Stakes. Dont know how well I did but felt much better when it was over. At 1130 AM Social Service lesson Department. Very interesting. Had lunch and at 2 PM Had Literary Department at 3 PM. Visiting teachers Dept at 4 PM Theology until 5 PM. I attended all making 13 hours of meetings yesterday & today. This evening went to a Reception for Pres. Stayed all night at my brother Orens. Friday, April 8, 1932. Did not rest very well guess I was too tired for I sat up late visiting with Mae, Oren, Mark & Ethal. However Mae & I went to the opening session of LDS General Conference. We had lunch and attended afternoon session. Enjoyed both sessions a lot. I took lunch down town and spent some time at the exhibit where hundreds have been & are going went up & stayed at Orens all night. Myrell Cleones daughter has been very sick the past week with blood poison from an infected knee. |
