Show Friday, April 29, 1932. Have spent most of the day at home in general house work. Did not attend a party given by Mrs Paul Richards Weeks because of another engagement. Saturday, April 30, 1932. Have been out all morning with Mrs. DR Wheelwright on family Case work for Community Service. Find most people are reluctant to accept help with out they can work for it. The cases we visited had applied for work & had to be investigated. This afternoon if have done sweeping, dusting & cleaning. Spent the evening crocheting my alfigan. Went up to Cleones and stayed with the children while she went down town. Justin, Myrell have colds & earache. Royal is in bed with a cold also Silka the maid is down with a cold. Cleone is quite worn out as this is such a buisy month for her. Costumes to make etc. |
