During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Thursday, October 6, 1932. This AM at 8 nine of our RS board members went to Salt Lake in two Autos to attend General Relief Society Conference. A meeting for all officers was held at 10 AM General session at 2 PM & one at 7 PM we drove home after last session. We all had lunch togather Listened to Senator Smoot give an address at Hotel Utah. Friday, October 7, 1932. Dr and I drove to Salt Lake this AM. He went to a directors meeting of Ellison Ranch. I attended Gerneral Conference of LDS. Wonderful speaking enjoyed it very much. Pres. Heber J. Grant is in Chicago having undergone an operation is recovering nicely they report. Vice Pres A W Ivans presided at conference. We drove out to the State Fair this afternoon rather disappointed in it, few in attendance. Due I guess to the depression, which all seem to share in. Retire early. |
