Show Saturday, January 30, 1932. US sends Forces to China. Have doen little of note today but as usual had a Committee meeting to attend on Annual Ball of D of Pioneers. Japan holds Shanghai after fierce fighting. Sunday, January 31, 1932. Intended going to sunday School but Dr wished me to go with him to see Sister Pool age 83 who is very sick. His car became stuck in the snow and so I did not go either place. Dr & I had a nice dinner with Blanch & Junior. I called to see Cleone who is ill in bed with cold. Dr & I called to see Ray Middleton Jensen whos husband died from a fall on the icey sidewalk a week ago. I went to Sacrament meeting Bro Loyd from Logan was the speaker bore a wonderful testimony of the healing power of the gospel. Dr went to see an operative case with Dr Junior I wrote to Oertel & Mary. |
