Show Friday, February 5, 1932. Dr arose early prepared his own breakfast and went up to the hospital to oeprate Mrs. Smith at eight o clock. I slept until ten and certainly enjoyed my rest, Prepared Drs lunch and did up the work. Had luncheon with Acacia Club members at Janetta Morrells. Dr Ricks of the AC gave a splendid talk on George Washington. Called to see Cleone & children who have colds also D Orr & family Junior and Blanch came in for awhile this evening. Had a nice letter from Oertel She had just taken part with the faculty. Columbus Ohio University Light Opera Co in Monsieur Beausarie Jan 22-23. Wrote letters to Lucile my sister & Oertel. Saturday, February 6, 1932. Have been buisy at home most of the day. This morning went over to see Bertha Wright who recd a cabel from Germany saying her husband Arthur was seriously ill. She feels very much upset. This evening Dr & I went to see a picture havent been before for months. Dr doesnt care much for pictures. Had a nice letter from Oertel. |
