Show Monday, September 26,1932. beautiful day & have had so many. Myrene and I drove out to Creigs Canning factory were the four Stake Relief Societies are canning peaches & tomatoes 100 hundred RS wemon are pealing all day. This evening the reported 5500 cans of peaches and 5600 cans of tomatoes put up first class. I attended a meeting of RCF committee in Salt Lake City at the Capitol building it lasted from two PM until 5 PM. Myrene took one down. The buisness of meeting was passing on reports of the Corfow Co plan and other Counties that are in dire destress owing to memployment. Also went shopping and bought me a lovely winter coat. the first one I have bought in five years. Cleone came in this evening. Tuesday, September 27, 1932. Beautiful day. Put up mustard pickle this AM. A bountiful year never have had me more so. Attended a party at Mrs Merrills home given by her and Mrs. King. I poured. A nice letter from Mary. |
