Monday, January 18, 1932. This morning I made pies did up house work prepared lunch. This afternoon Mrs. Martha Cooley, Allie Pond, Lucile Myers, Rose Nielson, Dora Holther, Harriet Cozzens and I quilted a large quilt. I pieced & set togather for the Relief Society this is the sixth we have made to sell and replenish our treasury. At present we carry three finds for the RS Board in two different banks. First National Bank of Ogden & Commercial Security Bank which in all amounts to over 800.00 most of this is drawing 4 interest. We, The Board members had the Lit lesson on Tolstoy the great Russin writer Rosella Larkin gave it. Mrs. Elizabeth Thomas & mrs. Wheelwright were here this evening for awhile. Had letters this AM from Russell Rich in Germany Aunt Lucy Merrill in USA & Avon in Wyo. Tuesday, January 19, 1932. This afternoon my counselors Martha Cooley & Rose Nielson and I went over Relief Society books & records for the past year found them in fine shape. This is Dr Frank Bakers 66 birthday had him & Mrs. Baker over for dinner. I made ice cream & cake, had pineapple salad, tomato cocktail, lamb chops, creamed potatoes string beans, hot rolls. They stayed until 930. Our ward teacher Bro Marion Thomas visited us.
