William Website: WSU Athletics The Department of Campus Recreation offers a variety of recreational opportunities at the C. William Shomberg Complex/ Reed K. Swenson Building and throughout campus for users with an active WSU Wildcard. The staff strive to create opportunities that inspire engagement in healthy active lifestyles! Campus Recreation Programs and Services Aquatics Program • Drop-in lap swim available early morning, afternoon, evening • Aqua fitness classes • Swim lessons for all ages Fitness and Wellness • Over 30 weekly drop-in group classes (indoor cycling, aqua fitness, step, cardio kickboxing, sculpting, yoga, zumba, hip hop, etc.) offered at Stromberg/Swenson, Promontory Tower, University Village, Shepherd Union, and Davis Campus • Over 90 hours/week of drop-in strength and cardio condition ing equipment (free weights, variable resistance machines, treadmills, elliptical crosshainers, upright and recumbent bikes, rowers, etc.) in Stromberg Gym and Promontory Towers fitness center • Student wellness programs and clinics Intramural Sports and Club Sports • Inhamural sports involve team and individual recreational leagues (men/women/co-ed; volleyball, basketball, racquetball, indoor soccer, flag football, etc.) offered each semester • Club sports involve collegiate competition on a local, state, regional, or national level in a variety of sports; there are currently 19 active sports clubs at WSU: archery, baseball, billiards, bowling, climbing, cycling, fencing, hockey, martial arts, rodeo (men's and women's), rugby (men's and women's), ski, snowboard, soccer, tennis, triathlon, and wrestling. Outdoor Programs (Located in Annex 9) • Outdoor equipment rentals for all seasons • Outdoor skills clinics, workshops, and hips • Low ropes challenge course/challenge education programs • Resource library and digital mapping • Discount day passes to local ski resorts • Weber Rocks climbing wall (Stromberg Gym, in collaboration with the Health Promotion Human Performance Dept.)
