Show Wednesday, March 16, 1932. Spent today at Community Service building giving out clothing to the different charity organization of the city and tired tonight. D Orr cleaned the kitchen & breakfast room. Went to Relief Society Board meeting Dr and I sat up late to read. Drs buisiness has dropped off a very great deal the past year and he has a lot to meet financialy. Have never knon him to worry much before. Thursday, March 17, 1932. Have spent the day cleaning cubboards and D Orr has been cleaning up stairs. He has had very little work this winter has taken care of the Avon Apts for Dr & had his rent. This has been a hard winter hundreds out of work and none to be had. Collectiosn are poor and all dividends stopped except rent from Avon Apts. Dr ahs to pay seven hundred dollars taxes this mo & wonders how he will do it. He payed five hundred last mo. |
