The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Tuesday, September 20, 1932. This AM at 9 o clock our Stake Relief Society conference opened. I presided at four meetings and my counselor Martha B Cooley at one. Our sessions continued until 4 PM except one hour for lunch which the executive officers and visiting board member had at Green Gables. Howles was our visitor and gave some excellent talks & advice at our afternoon session 187 members were present. A day well spent but happy to have it over. Dr is very patient & considerate other wise I could not do so much out side of home. Wednesday, September 21, 1932. Have spent today at home canning peaches. Did 22 qts and also preserved ground cherries. This evening I went to RS Board meeting & later to the 12 Ward to rehearse for pagent to be put on tomorrow for Daughters of Pioneers open meeting. Am very tired tonight. |
