Show Curtain Rises on “Arsenic and Old Lace” DIAL 'M' FOR MURDER MADHOUSE | Ben Lomond High School’s production of “Arsenic and Old Lace,” written by Joseph Kesselring, will be presented tonight in the Scot’s auditorium at 8 p.m. The play takes place in an old house inhabited by two lovable old maids who enjoy killing single men. Members of the cast include: Dave Archibald, Joel Brown, Steve Christelli, Rebby Fleming, Ron Hursburger, Russell Johnson, Scott Jones, Robert Keyes, Arlette Linford, Steve Malan, Benson Sloots, Ann Thomas, Ken Vanderdoes, and Craig Watts. According to Miss Choules, drama instructor, the scenery, constructed by Mr. Hansen’s shop classes, should contribute to the success of the play. Tonight, students will be admitted by their student body cards only. Friday, the fee will be &Ce and adults 75c. Tickets will also be sold in the ticket booths tonight and tomorrow night. His program consisted of the three main parts. First he explained that hypnotism consists of three main departments: light, medium, and deep. Drechsel. Dr. Drechsel said that all of the representatives of our region voted aaginst the proposal. He also said that he is very much against the realignment, stating, “I agree with the association that something must be done, but this isn’t it, and it doesn’t meet our needs.” The realignment proposal comes up for protest in December. Some examples of this are that one student ,after awaking, grabbed the stage curtain with her left hand and could not release her hand until he had touched her hand; another could not remove his feet from their position, and one boy, after returning to his seat in the audience, stood and frankly yelled “Shut up!” After a roar of laughter, Mr. Lythgoe ended his performance with these words, “It has been said that a hypnotist can cast spells.
