This new tradition has been planned for January 31 as an appropriate climax to Scots’ Week. A homecoming, as you probably know, is when a school’s alumni return to their alma mater to renew old acquaintances. Most schools across the state and nation go all out for homecoming with queens, parades, pep assemblies, football games, and dances. 7 Ben Lomond will have a pep assembly, a basketball game with Bonneville, and an alumni dance afterward to start off homecoming in a great manner. _ The Highlander strongly urges the student body officers or those in charge of the dance to sponsor a theme contest for homecoming.
