Dedication Throughout our history as an incorporated city, a group of volunteers have been serving on a regular monthly basis. Their complicated formidable duty has been to control the growth of our community as set forth in our General Plan; to keep us moving forward, but also to maintain the rural atmosphere we hold dear. What and where businesses can be established, what subdivisions are prudent, what use of land is appropriate-these questions and more are handled by this select group. Petitioners are not always happy; decisions may be difficult but necessary. These people are appointed, but serve voluntarily, and they rarely receive the recognition and thanks of residents. This history, therefore, is dedicated to past and present members of The Marriott-Slaterville City Planning Commission Thank you for your many hours of service.
