Only 450 students, 25 pupils per class, will be enrolled. The school will be affiliated with Expeditionary Learning, a national school reform and teacher training organization. The first lottery for selecting students will be held before the end of February. Parents of prospective students are encouraged to attend an informational meeting at the Marriott-Slaterville city offices at 1570 W. 400 North. The meetings will be held at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 26, 7 p.m. Feb. 19, 10:30 a.m. March 15 and 7 p.m. April 10. The new school will be built at 400 N. 1500 West.
