Show The Pioneer Post Volume X Issue 10 Marriott-Slaterville City Newsletter October Mayor's Message As you know Marriott-Slaterville City does not levy a municipal property tax, a feat that can be claimed by only very few Utah cities. Our residents and businesses benefit from this policy. This month, I express my gratitude to our business community in Marriott-Slaterville City. In keeping business property taxes low, the city fosters an excellent business base. Recently, I have had an opportunity to see two new wonderful businesses open in our community, and participated in their grand opening ribbon cutting. I welcome these new businesses: Intermountain Farmers Association and Les Olson Company. Also, I encourage resident to visit our businesses in the community. Supporting local business helps our business community and the city. Thank you to our local business owners and managers in our city._ Ccmmunity Awards Each year residents have an opportunity to nominate others in the community for our annual community awards.
