Show January 10, 2002 UDOT begins bridge project MARRIOTT-SLATERVILLE - The Utah Department of Transportation began construction Wednesday at 12th Street and 1900 West in Marriott-Slaterville. UDOT plans to replace the railroad bridge and the Weber River bridge on 1900 West. The road will also be widened to four lanes between 1800 South and 1200 South. Twelfth Street will be widened from Interstate 15 to just west on the 1900 West intersection. Lane restrictions will begin next month, when the roadway will be restriped. Construction is planned to continue for two years. No work is planned during the Olympics. 18 |
