Keep my pages trusting, cheery and bright And send out a prayer with each word that you write! By Rosa Lee Lloyd Friday, January 1 The most beautiful, warm sunshin New Year day I have ever seen. Dr and I have had a very happy pleasant day. We made some calls on family and friends. This afternoon we were guests of Col. & Mrs. Robert M. Hardaway. He is in charge of the Bushnell Hospital at Brigham City whe they held open house. Here we renewed our acquaintance with supervising nurse Dora Noble. Had turkey dinner with Joe & Myrene Brewer & family. Spent the evening at Dr Herbert Luciles home a pleasant time. Saturday January 2 some snow this morning but not very cold. I hope to keep a better & more complete diary than in the past resolve to take more time for worth while things. My health is good also Drs and we are alone in our home where we have resided since 1901. Lucile (my sister) and I did some buying at Andersons. This evening we attended the Messiah in Tabernacle Lester Hinchliff chorister Cleone R. Eccles Orchestra, Sam Whitker at the Organ. Austin Segar Base soloist Mildrid Ware Soprano soloist Frost Tenor Burghant contralto.. Very good & large attendance.
