Prominent Tea Highlighting social events in Ogden this week was the tea this afternoon given by Mrs. Wallace H. Ellis, Mrs. Junior Edward Rich and Mrs. Adam Patterson Jr. at the home of Mrs. Ellis on Marilyn Drive, The guests called between the hours of three and six. The tea table was artistically arranged with a barona and lace cloth and a large bowl of yellow chrysanthemums. Yellow tapers in candelabra lighted the setting. Those who poured were Mrs. Marriner A. Browning, Mrs. William Rice Kimball, Mrs. Edward I. Rich, Mrs. William H. Harris, Mrs. Royal Eccles, Mrs. George A. Ward, Mrs. Spencer S. Eccles, Mrs. Joseph W. Brewer, Mrs. Burton Lyle Fisher and Mrs. E. Hugh Ford. Assisting were Mrs. Matt S. Browning, Mrs. Val A. Browning, Mrs. Louis H. Peery, Mrs. John B. Ellis, Mrs. John Franklin Ellis, Mrs. Hugh J. Hintze of Salt Lake City, Mrs. John Lindquist, Mrs. Albert John Bates and Miss Claramay Patterson.
