During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Recd a card from Blanch She is visiting Junior at Bakersfield Calif. Junior is Staff. Surgeon at Minter field Air Base Hospital. Lots of changes these days Saturday, November 20 The girls and I went to Salt Lake to spend the day with Oertel & had a very nice lunch with her. Maren, Cleone Sen, Myrene Lucile and I. Taylor Peery tried to get I touch with us over the phone from Salt Lake Air Port as he was on his way to Michigan by plane. Assigned by Army to prepare for Governorship & go over seas later. Did shopping for about one hr. Returned home late. Dr just fixes something himself for his lunch and is sure considerate when I go away.
