Show Thursday, April 29 Friday, April 30 Ogden Clubs Are Busy may 2 43 OGDEN Mrs. Royal Eccles was elected president of the Drama club at the final meeting of the year Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. Joseph R. Morrell. The club will not have the annual breakfast this year. Acacia club was entertained Friday at luncheon by Mrs. Royal Eccles at her home, 2508 Jackson avenue. Mrs. Edward I. Ricah was assisting hostess. Music was furnished by Mrs. Eccles, violin; Mrs. Fred Froerer, piano accompanist, and Mrs. Ralph Hardy, Salt Lake City, pianist. Saturday, May 1 U.S. takes over mines from strikers. Dr was shown great honor on this fifty years of his practice of Medacine & Surgery in Weber Co. A gift of Dresden China to me & a book to Dr. May 1 1943 To Honor Doctor OGDEN Dr. Edward I. Rich, who has practiced medicine in Ogden for 50 years, will be honored tonight by members of Weber County Medical Society at 7 p.m. in the Hotel Ben Lomond. Reminiscences of his medical career will be given by Dr. Rich. Other speakers will be Dr. Ezra C. Rich, a brother, Dr. Joseph R. Morrell and James A. Howell. Mrs. Rich will be honored by members of the medical society auxiliary at the home of Mrs. V.L. Warda. Sunday, May 2 Dr and I attended Sunday School and Fast meeting. Had Dinner at Cleones after which we called on Blanch Myrene Lucile, Baker and drove up the canon to see Ezra & Gladys. Listened over radio to Stephen L. Richards talked, read some and retired at 1030. A full day |
