Show Friday, October 22 Avon and I drove into Stockton to have dress fittings. I still have a bad cold and do not feel so good. Recd letter from Dr. All fine at home but thinks my visite is about long enough as he is home alone, but takes dinner with the girls most of the time. Saturday, October 23 I remained in bed all day have quite a bad dough and feel poorly. So dam here & cold at night. Sunday, October 24 Avon went into Oakdale to Sunday School June is Branch President but had to load, stock etc. so the boys did not go either. A very buisy place. At four P.M. June took load of steers into San Francisco and Avon. Carlyn Charles, Richard & Mrs Reed & I go to San Francisco for the Opera Carmen. Mary met us there. It was fine. I drove home with Mary to stay over might & Avon & family drove back to Ranch all were guests of Avon. Monday, October 25 This A.M. Mary and I drove into San Francisco where we spent the day. At 5 P.M. she took me to the Ferry where I waited until 7 P.M. & too my train. Was glad to get settled & on my way home. the porter made up my bath & I went to bed at once where I remained until time to get off in Ogden. |
