Show Second District Judge Lewis V. Trueman, 52, was shot and killed, together with four other persons, and two others are in the Dee hospital today recovering from gunshot Wounds received when Austin Cox, 38, 133 Willow, ran amuck Friday night with a 12 gauge shotgun. The dead, besides Judge Trueman, are: Sam Nelson, 49, 3856 Harrison; Bessie Brooks, 2238 Lincoln, about 30; Jane Stauffer, 29, and Mrs. T. Burton of Rigby, Idaho, all of 2240 Lincoln. The injured are T. Bert Stauffer, 35, and Dale Brooks, 29, of 2238 Lincoln. Stauffer is in a critical condition with severe head and shoulder wounds. Brooks has a hand wound. |
