Another feature that makes this fair unique is the presence of groups like Belegarth Medieval Combat Society, trained combat fighters who travel to events performing re-enactments of famous battles. Bodily said she enjoys having Belegarth Society at the festival because it brings history to the event in an up-close and personal way. Also attending the event is Thompson Fine Arts, fantasy craft artists from Colorado specializing in drawings of mythical creatures. Having groups of this nature helps to perpetuate the fun environment they are trying to create, Bodily said.
