He is responsible for worldwide administration. He has served as director of taxes since joining En virotech in 1970. Previously he was with the Internal Revenue Service in Salt and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He lives in Los Altos, Calif., with his wife and three children. LOYAL CHRISTENSEN NYE, a 1941 graduate, recently had a children’s book published by Abingdon Press entitled “What Color Am I?’’ Mrs. Nye lives in Kensington, Maryland. BRENT E. JOHNS, 28, has opened a law practice in Weber Valley Bank Building, Ogden. A graduate of WSC, he received his juris doctor degree from J. Reuben Clark Law School of BYU. While at Weber State he held offices in the studentbody and was a member of the planning committee intern to former Sen. Frank E. Moss. He is married to the former Becky Spackman of Brigham City. LLOYD V. HOWERTON, a resident of and Art Instruction Minnesota. a_ professional Schools, tool maker an Ogden hospital. She had been a teacher in the Summit County schools and teacher and librarian in the Ogden City and Weber County schools. CHARLES SIDNEY NOBLE, IIA KAYE Centerville, formerly of Ogden, died Nov. 22 of a heart ailment. He graduated from Ogden High, WSC and BYU and did graduate work. He was BYU studentbody president. He received his master’s degree from Cleveland State University. and was for- FERRELL LARSON, 40, Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas, died from injuries sustained in the same Dr. Jardine taught art inUtah for several years, was President of the Utah Art accident. Edwards and Minneapolis, SPENCER PETERSON, 71, had -been a dairy farmer and was a member of of the Weber County Farm Bureau. In 1967 he graduated with honors in art from WSC. She graduated from Weber High School, WSC and BYU in 1959. She served an LDS Spanish American mission and was active in her church and in drama. Her husband, Dr. Robert Ernest Larson, 57, Pang at merly employed at Univac in Salt Lake City. FERGUSON, 57, Farmington, died Oct. 17, 1977 of injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident. He had been employed as a machinist and 7 Colorado Syracuse. Roosevelt, was killed in an automobile accident Nov. 25, 1977. She was reared in Basketball Association team, was honored and the dean’s council. He served as an graduating ns campus long-range BEAZER, had worked for Geneva Steel until his retirement. He was originally from BATES, 78, North Ogden, died Nov. 12 in by Vincennes University’s Faculty and Alumni Assoc. recently and received the 1977 Faculty Citation for Achievement. Mr. Sparks played basketball for Vincennes University, a junior college, and then continued his studies and basketball career at WSC. He was named to the All Conference Team and most valuable player in the Golden Spike Tourney in 1968. He began his coaching career at WSC in 1970 and went to Vincennes in 1971. He started his current assignment with the Kansas City Kings in 1974. DON L. JARDINE, the first recipient of Weber’s annual Ouststanding Art Student Award, was promoted to vice president of A. graduated from Bonneville High School and WSC. MARIANNE SCHULTZ HOMER , 27, Logan and graduated from Logan High School. She attended USU and WSC. LAMBERT ROENE LUCILLE LOIS M. SMITH has been appointed chief of the Correspondence Audit Branch at the Ogden Internal Revenue Service Center. She attended WSC and the U of U. Her husband is Don Smith. DAN E. SPARKS, assistant coach and scout for the Kansas City Kings, National Lake City, and with Ernst and Ernst in Los Angeles and Salt Lake City. He holds a B.S. degree in accounting from WSC WILLIAM Layton. Oe tax 29, °, A corporate DAVENPORT, class of ‘26, died in December in Provo where he had lived for many years.
