Show Chapter Chatter Emeritus Chapter The Emeritus Chapter of the WSC Alumni Association, consisting of those who attended the Southern California Chapter college or its predecessor institutions 40 years ago or more, held a is just getting started. The first meeting was held June 1 at the Grand Hotel in Anaheim. As members are located they will be sent a ‘‘Weber State College Alumni Biographical Record’’ form and asked to complete and return it to the college. The next meeting will be coordinated with the WSC vs. Long Beach State basketball game on November 30 at Devon’s home. A light buffet will begin at 5:30 p.m. the ballgame begins at 7:30. Bay In conjunction with the Wildcat basketball game against St. John’s University in the Joe Lapchick Memorial Tournament last November, a WSC alumni chapter was formed in New York. The college hosted a dinner just prior to the Friday night ballgame for all alumni in the area. Dean Hurst, vice president of college relations, Edie Hester, director of alumni, and Maggie Favero, vice president of the alumni association, attended to help establish the chapter. All WSC alumni in the area are invited to join the group at their next meeting, tentatively scheduled for November 6.
