Dr. Harold W. Ritchey, received honorary doctorates. A. Russell Croft served as a national forest administrator responsible for watershed management and restoration from 1951 to 1962. member of the board in 1958, was hydrology from 1934 to 1950 for the U.S. Forest Service. He completed his career as a professor of watershed management at the University of Arizona from 1964 to 1967. Mr. Croft is the author of about 50 publications in watershed management and forest hydrology. President of the WSC Alumni Association in 1940-41, he also served as president of USU Alumni, 1943-45. He has received many awards and special recognitions for his professional and civic work and worked in the Boy Scout man of the board and chie executive officer in 1970.
