Motion picture actor Stewart Petersen recently paid him a high compliment in the Church News, section of the Deseret News. He pointed out that Coach Johnson taught the team much greater concepts than just football. He taught them to do their best so they were always winners even if the scoreboard didn’t show it, and never to be ashamed after having done their best. Class Notes LEON ROBERT SEIFERT has completed requirements for a master of science degree in business education at Utah State University. He is an instructor and department head in business at Weber High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in business education at WSC in 1967. He and his wife, the former Anita Elanor Gealta of Ogden, have eight children. BERNARD J. MONCLA has been appointed a teaching assistant in bacteriology and public health at Washington State University for the ’78-79 academic year. He is a graduate student and is working toward a Ph.D. He is a 1974 graduate of WSC and received his master’s degree from Idaho State University in Pocatello. JOHN LEMON’ is a Peace Corps volunteer and teaches English as a foreign language in Niger, Central Africa. He conducts classes in a secondary school in the capital city of Niamey. He graduated from WSC in 1978 with a bachelor’s degree in English. GARY W. MALAN has been promoted to staff sergeant while serving at Fort Hood, Tex. He is a quality audit supervisor W the ist Personnel and Administrali Battalion at the fort. He attended WS : STEPHEN T. THOMPSON has joit Norwich-Eaton Pharmaceuticals manager of microbiological laborat in the quality assurance department. li Thompson has had previous positions Wi Cutter Laboratories, the Pillsbi Company and Weber County Heal Department.
