He appeared as soloist with Center with several of the country’s vituosic versatility will be featured in works performed on the modern, Baroque and conical Boehm flutes and a pencil-sized piccolo recorder. the Mostly Mozart, Maderia Bach and Vermont Mozart Festivals, and the Baltimore Symphony. Chamber music appearances include collaborations with such artists as Pierre Fournier amd Maureen Forrester. Mr. Brewer performs and tours with several renowned music ensembles in the United States, Europe and Japan. He has recorded chamber and solo music repertoire on both harpsichord and organ for CBS, Vox, Nonesuch, Musical Heritage Society, Desto and the BBC. He teaches at Columnbia and the Fairleigh Dickenson Universities and the City College of New York. He received a master's degree from BYU in public administration with emphasis in educational administration. Doug is a contract negotiator at Hill AFB. He is a member of the Air Force Young Alumni Chapter President Douglas Blair Young is a native of Ogden. He graduated from Ogden High School and Weber State College where he president. was student body vice Reserve and the Ogden Jaycees. He served as vice president of Young Alumni last year. ‘He is married to the former Bonnie] Sessions and they are the proud parents of six children.
