The center provides remedial diagnosis and instruction for young people in the community who are experiencing learning difficulties. Interest from the remaining $300,000 would provide scholarships for worthy students. These scholarships will be based on need, and scholastic ability with consideration given to students with a railroad background in their family. He attended Weber College from 1956 until 1958, before getting his law degree from the University of Utah in 1964. Judge Taylor, was a partner in the law firm of Lamph & Newey in Ogden before becoming a judge in 1973. He has also served as chief deputy attorney for the Ogden City Corporation, president of the county bar association, president of the cir- cuit judges association, member of the judicial council (the governing body of judges in the state) and is a member of MOWEDA board of directors. In 1948 he went to work for Arabian American Oil Company where he worked both in New York City and Saudi Arabia until 1963. From then until his retirement in 1972 he worked as a personnel generalist at Hill Air Force Base. Corry has been vice president of the Sons of Utah Pioneers and president of the WSC Emeritus Alumni organization. Mrs. Miller is the wife of the former WSC president William P. Miller. She was born in Syracuse where she met her husband. As wife of the WSC president she hosted numerous functions for both faculty and students. She has served since 1963 in the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and was one of the charter members of Rowland P. Corry Mrs. Mary W.
