Office Organization and Management—Principles of office organization and management; duties of the manager, selection and training of office personnel; layout and workflow systems and procedures analysis; forms design and control; selection and care of supplies and equipment. Methods of Teaching Shorthand and Office Practice—Analysis of textbooks and research into methods of teaching shorthand theory, speed and transcription with special emphasis on standards of achievement, testing, grading, and effective planning and organization of course content, standards of work, testing and grading of office practice courses.
