Show Fremont student finding success developing talents Utah FACES BY JAMIE LAMPROS Standard-Examiner correspondent MARRIOTT-SLATERVILLE Colton Meyerhoffer has turned into quite the photographer. Up until last month, the 15-year-old didn't take many pictures at all. But when Hospice of Utah asked high school students to enter a photography contest, Mey-erhoffer captured a heartwarming moment with his grandmother and little brother laughing together and sent the photo off. Out of 300 photos entered in the contest, Meyerhoffer was one of the top four winners. "It was pretty cool," he said. "I really like taking pictures now. I think it's going to become a hobby. My mom has always liked to take pictures." Not only does Meyerhoffer enjoy taking pictures now, he's also a newcomer to Fremont High School's hockey team. "I just started this year," he said. "My friend has a pond behind his house and we always go over there and skate and play hockey." Meyerhoffer said he enjoyed it so much that he tried out for the team.
