Show Monday, January 19, 1953 Nice day. Snow practically all gone in town I went down to Bank & Drug store otherwise have been home all day. Reading most of day. Dr Jr called this a.m. Nothing special. This is last day of Truman in the White house EVENT ROSTER, TIMETABLE OF INAUGURAL WASHINGTON, Jan. 19 This is the schedule of events for inauguration day Tuesda: (Mountain Standard time). 7 a.m. Electoral college members meet to form permanent organization. 7:30 a.m. Private services at National Presbyterian Church for President elect Dwight D. Eisenhower, new cabinet and families. 9:45 a.m. Ceremonies at capitol begin, including inaugurations of Vice President Richard Nixon and President Eisenhower, Eisenhowers inaugural address. 11:30 a.m. Inaugural parade leaves capitol for White House. 8 p.m. Inaugural balls at National Guard Armory. Mr. and Mrs. John Earl of 450 Oak St., died today, just three hours apart, after having been married for over 76 years.
