During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Annual Banquet Of SUP Thursday Standard 1953 May 4 The annual banquet of the Ogden Weber County Chapter, Sons of Utah Pioneers, will be held Thursday at 7 p. m. in the domestic science department of Weber College. Entrance is on 25th Street between Adams and Jefferson Avenues. Reservations may be made by contacting Molt N. Smith, recording secretary, 3428 Porter Ave. Principal speaker following the banquet will be Richard A. Lambert, president of the National Sons of Utah Association from Salt Lake City. Edward I. Rich will be master of ceremonies. Claude L. Wheeler, president of the local chapter, will give the welcoming address. The invocation will be offered by Lawrence M. Malan. Immediately following the dinner, Meida Saas will render vocal solos. She will be accompanied by Jorgen Saas. General business of the chapter will be transacted following the musical numbers with all immigrant and local pioneers being introduced. The benediction will be given by Fred M. Abbott. |
