MARY DAVENPORT A NATIVE of Holyoke, Massachusetts, Miss Davenport received her musical training at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia and at the Royal College in London. An artist of versatile gifts, Miss Davenport has appeared with many major symphonies, in recital, radio broadcasts and also starred in the Broadway hit The Medium. Recent appearances have included six with the Little Orchestra Society under Thomas Scherman in New York and vicinity; three with the Boston Symphony Orchestra under Charles Munch in Boston; two in Boston and Worcester with the Boston Pops Orchestra under Arthur Fiedler; and one in Springfield, Massachusetts, with the Springfield Symphony Orchestra under Alexander Leslie.
