Show THE SALT LAKE TRIBUNE, Monday, October 12, 1953 WHY GROW OLD Tubby Hubby Gets Warning By Josephine Lowman I have warned you during the past week about the real and definite dangers of overweight, especially for the middle aged or older man. If you would like to have my Tubby Hubby Reducing: Diet (pocket size) please send 10 cents and a stamped, self addressed envelope with your request for it to Josephine Lowman in care of The Salt Lake Tribune Home Service Bureau. There are real health dangers in carrying overweight to say nothing of the embarrassment when you get on dance floor! After you have lost your ten or twelve pounds try to continue the general plan of the reducing diet. Of course, you can add more calories to it. Try this by increasing the portions of the essential foods, of which your reducing diet consists. The warning I am giving you is Do not go back to the old habits of eating.
