During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Ward Conference Long day of many meetngs We had dinner at Royal & Cleones and attended reception given Dr Wm Miller who is chesen President of Weber College to succeed Dr Dixon who goes to U.A.X. at Logan Large reception. Dr Wm Miller nice man and should make a good President. Retire early tired. Monday, September 21, 1953 Little rain tonite We Myra & I were invited to lunch and to meet her Mother by Mrs P.A. Ballinger 2570 Sylee Ave Her mother Mrs Adams from Parowan a dear old lady a friend of my Aunt Paulina Lyman Cleone and Heber & Lucile called this eveng and Heber & Lucile reported on their trip to California. Tuesday, September 22, 1953 Nice day. Sister Luella R edel Adams visited us today She is a native of Parowan Utah a dear old lady We visited Pioneer Hall and Myra showed her our Memory booke and other interesting things we have Returned early and tired Mrs D.R. Wheelwright called and brought us some peaches Last day of Summer Wednesday, September 23, 1953 First day of Autumn Nice day. I have been home all day except for brief trip down town. Wrote to Ruth Rich who is in Wash D.C. studying nursing. Did little work in garden |
