During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show And Now, February! Tribune 1st 53 Well, June that is, we mean, January is over. And what a month its been! Never in the history of the Salt Lake City Weather Bureau, or in the memory of the oldest inhabitants, have we had a January like it. It was tRe warmest January on record by long odds. We have had day after day of sparklingly clear spring like weather. Yet January also equaled the all time record for January precipitation, 3.9 inches. And we had on Jan. 14 and 15 a snowstorm in Salt Lake City which broke eight previous records along with the limbs of many snow burdened trees, and the backs of many shovel weary citizens. And now, welcome to February. May it be a good month too. And for the sake of next summers crops and ranges, its goodness can well be measured in terms of winters normal complement of moisture. |
