The traditions made by former students at Ben Lomond must be upheld. The outstanding spirit displayed by the Class of 70 this summer, shows just how can and be. BEN LOMOND HIGH = NUMBER Over the summer, the faculty has taken a _ new look. Coach Hislop, who led the Scotties to the top in track and wrestling, has accepted the head position at Weber State College. Other teachers who have left are Coach Reisbeck. Mrs. Connie Stowe, Mr. Alton F, Richards, Mrs. Margaret Boyle, Along painting community school director. Ben Lomond has great potential in nearly everything. Coach Jones was” the head track coach at Davis High School last year, and came to BL this year as head track coach and assis-~tant football! coach. Due to the loss of CoachHisltop to Weber State College, the cross country team was left without a coach. Mr. Jones agreed to double as cross country coach as weel as assistant coach for the football team. During the summer a new rubberized track was built to replace the old ''Dust 'n Rock'' track. The team is very happy with the track and asks each member of the student body to avoid walking on the track. WALK AROUND !!: The team is made up of Ruskins John Wolthuis. Dan Walker, Mike Kearney, Mark Sabin, and Dale Johnson. Rrankins Dan Slater, and Art Pietschman. There is also one sophomore - Wayne Schneiter. Wayne won the 880 in the jr. high track meet last spring. He is a hard worker and a good Brodie representative. There is a look of victory in the eyes of thecoach and the runners.
