The Scots put on a show of great team balance and depth as they rolled up a total of 109 points in the annual event on : the Ben Lomond track Friday. Highly regarded Ogden High finished second with 83 points, Roy had 40, Bonneville 37 and Weber 33. Ben Lomond rolled up a total of seven first place finishes, but it was a matter of having more second and third place finishes that gave it the edge it needed to roar past Ogden. SET NEW RECORD Ben Lomond’s smooth running John Wolthuis set a new record in the 880 when he streaked around the course in the time of 1:58.2. Another Ben Lomond ace, distance star Danny Walker, rambled the distance in 4:27.9 | to set a new record in the mile. Walker beat his nearest rival by. at least 100 yards.
