The Scots have a region record of two wins and one loss. In a home game against Skyview, the Scots trailed 6-0, but rallied to tie the score at 6-all. The Bobcats came back with a rally of their own to take the lead at 12-6. The Scotties refused to play dead and came up with seven runs to snare a 138-12 victory. In the second region game, BL traveled to Tremonton to do battle with the Bears. Bear River built up an early 9-3 lead, but the Scots chased across five runs to narrow the score to 9-8. The Ben Lomond Golf Team is doing extremely well in Region competition. The Scots hold a 3-2 record, with their only losses coming from Ogden and Bonne- ville. Although Brad Egbert gave up only three runs, the Scotties managed only a few hits and failed to score any runs. The final score read Bonneville 3, Ben Lomond 0. The top slugger so far for our team has been John Hulmston, with a .420 batting average. Egbert is the leading pitcher with an overall record (practice and region games) of 3-2. Rick Garcia has done an outstand- ing fielding job. As of April 20, the Scots have four remaining home games, and a very good chance to come up with a reg- ion title.
