Show Residents Chance for Hazardous Waste Disposal, March 2007 HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE DAYS FREE TO WEBER COUNTY RESIDENTS WHEN: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on 3rd Saturday April-September WHERE: Weber County Transfer Station Drop-Off Area. 867 W. Wilson Lane (take 21st Street then follow the signs). WHAT TO BRING: household products containing toxic chemicals pesticides, herbicides cleaners, solvents, drain cleaners auto products, degreasers, old gasoline, etc. pool chemicals, other unknowns poisons of any kind propane tanks, etc. WHAT NOT TO BRING: explosives. commercial waste, or products packaged for larger than residential use. Radio active waste. Household medical waste. RESUE/RECYCLE SHED is for items that should not be dumped in your garbage but can be reused or recycled. (These options are available daily): Oil Base Paint (Laytex Paint if dried or soaked up in Kitty litter, can be disposed of in your dumpster) Motor oil Car Batteries Electronics (computers, monitors. TVs, etc.) PLEASE DO NOT CONSOLIDATE OR MIX DIFFERENT WASTES. IF POSSIBLE BRING IN ORIGINAL CONTAINER WITH LABELS. IF LEAKING OR CORRODED. PUT CONTAINER INSIDE ANOTHER CONTAINER. DO NOT TRANSPORT INSIDE THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT OF YOUR VEHICLE!! 41 |
