More Construction Work Announced October 28, 2007 Road closures planned on I-15 OGDEN A series of road closures will take place this week on Interstate 15 as part of the New Ogden Weber expansion, according to the Utah Department of Transportation. Northbound I-15 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday night betweeen 31st Street and South Willard while workers lay bridge girders on the 1800 North overpass. Motorists are advised to use 1900 West, Wall Avenue or U.S. 89 as alternate routes. Northbound I-15 will also be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday night at 2700 North in Farr West while crews work on the bridge. Traffic will be directed over the 2700 North interchange. UDOT says 2700 North will be closed under I-15 during the same time period. Southbound I-15 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday night at 2700 North in Farr West while work continues on the bridge. Traffic will be directed over the interchange on and off-ramps. Again, 2700 North will be closed under I-15 during the same period. Southbound I-15 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. between the 31 st Street exit in Ogden and South Willard.
